Champions

The world cup rugby couldn't have been better scripted, with the games leading up to the final following the same pattern. Where we would all behind only to recover and charge then to victory, each time leaving more doubt. The Australia press in general acted worse than the out tabloids and shows a childish part their character thought I suspect this was more of a NSW character as I've found the Queenslanders are definitely the friendlier; thought I realise that's a generalisation.

The final was amazing of would taking the lead catching up drawing level extract time taking the lead catching up; all the way down to the wire. That was one of the most exciting games of rugby; with only the out louts and their poor losers putting a downer on it.

Walk round

Waking early, as I normal do, I decided to go for a walk. The seafront is pretty but barren; with the main sights to see are Nobby’s lighthouse Nobbys lighthouse and Nobby’s beach. So I decide to grab a paper and settling in for a quite one.
In the afternoon I watch ‘28 days’ which has only just come out here but has been out in the UK for about a year; good film. Newcastle is the first industrial town that I've been to in Australia, and from the tankers (25) waiting out side it's definitely has a large port. One thing to Newcastle is the surfing; thought the cold is putting a stop to that; the other is the Hunter River that flows out of Newcastle. If you follow the Hunter up stream, you’ll come to the Hunter valley centre of Australian making; which is a trip I will do later.
