Got my ticket search the internet for the cheapest deal, £433, which is cattle class, but it's only a couple of hour (10 * 2) so I don't care about that. However, I have never flown before and never used my passport so this will be a bit of a leap.
But right now I don't care, I AM GOING TO AUSTRALIA.

It's time to start buying stuff, I’ve already brought some clothes, just got to but a backpak. So I got a Karrimor Panthar from millets, however after getting home and looking at the booklet, I notice it says fit for women! Now having live a quite life I never thought that a backpak would be fit for women and neither to the sales assistant as she failed to mention it!
Still changed it and got one more thing sorted.
So I phone my solicitor, he says that they’ve been having trouble with he insurance blah blah.... and he'll phone me back in an hour; now have I heard this before!! Well guess what he did and I’ve exchanged. I can't believe it, literary I’ve had so many false starts that it doesn’t seem real, just a relief.
It goes like this, I phone my solicitor he's busy and will phone me back, well its 4:30, he hasn’t I’m pissed. Still the good news is he's in tomorrow. However I’m getting seriously pissed off, and close to having a stroke.
That is the question, do I wait for the exchange of contracts, or resign now and be dammed! If I wait I’ll be spending more time in blight, no I’ve got more balls than that. Therefore, I’ve resigned and I can only hope that the house goes through.
This time it's the lack of building indemnity insurance, What ever that is, I just hope this is the last item! should be! and hopeful should take to long to sort-out.
Shopping at Europe’s largest shopping centre, and all I could bye was a t-shirt boxers and a gown! I'm not the most interested shopper, Still I did see the theHULK; which is quite a good film. It still not in the league of crouching tiger hidden dragon!
spent the rest of the day working on my gallery, which hopefully should be up soon.
Having found out that more information was required by the buyer solicitors, I thought ok phone up and check it out. After all you never know what may go wrong! Like two worker both taking leave! Now i don't wish to tell people how to do there job, but two workers both taking leave at the same time! Still finally got that sorted and the request should arrive on Friday! This was Wednesday/Thursday.
Friday comes and I’m still waiting 2o/k I’ll phone my solicitors, he's not in today! So the useless fuckwit, who I told how important it was for me to exchange, and it would happen on Friday, doesn’t tell me! FUCKSAKE. So I’ll now have to wait to Monday! Still the buyers is ready to exchange and I phoned my boss (Neil), top man, said it's two weeks, 1st of August.
If this goes on much longer I’ll run round my work, with a semi automatic machine gun, and decimate Tiscali.
I could be very effective, in gunning down all the most able people, leaving just the dead wood.
However having spoken to my solicitor, he's done his job! and now it's down to the buyer! Which is good news for Friday? So if what the case, Friday, resign and then two weeks later, fly to OZ!
I very rarely go geek over tech, and I’m one of the least gadget craze people I know, but every now and then I do splurge on something, however when I sell my house I will have plenty, plus I will be using it on my trip it’s not too extravagant. So what is it? Sony DSC-V1 digital camera, I was looking at the Fujifilm FinePix F700, but this has been delayed.
So why this camera, simple - ISO; now not many people understand photography least the complex parts like depth of field fstops.... but the more options you have the creative you can be. For me ISO rating has all ways been the let down of digital cameras, ISO 100 is standard.
Well the Sony goes upto 800, the Fuji upto 1600! the other things that the Sony has is a 4x optical zoom; Very nice! The only other thing is when too buy it, hopefully i can do the duty-free thing!
The only other camera I considered was the Casio Exilim which hasn’t got a zoom; but can fit it a shift pocket, very swish.
Give that I’m constantly getting set back on my route to OZ, originally I was going to go out in April, I find planning is imposable. However now that I have an Exchange date I feel it's easier to plan.
So where do I start, SYDNEY, that’s the advice; and you get advice by the bucket; i read somewhere that advice is a form of reminiscing, still it's never ignored. Personal i find it better to hear other peoples plans, especially if their an attractive you woman!
Any way, back to the plan (subject to changes as I feel) Fly into Sydney, thought I consider a stop off essential; if only to have the extra stamp in my passport (possibly in the far east, cheap duty-free). It's a bit sad but, can't believe that I would get excited by an extra stamp.
So I’m in Sydney, and I’ll bum round their for few days/weeks; getting the feel and general acclimatizing. Then up to Brisbane 'as though that not already been organised for me', to meet the relatives. After that, it's a quick trip North to Carines and from which I’ll make my way back down south to Sydney, stopping off again in Brisbane.
Saturday and Sunday, spending in Blackheath; because my life is on hold until I can get it together (i.e. sell house). Blackheath is a lovely area; i'll miss it - not too much mind.
Most of the time was spent reading the paper, Guardian; the rest fingering my travel books, and trying not to get too excited!
Finally got some progress, which is a shock, thought it's not a moment to early. The News, well I should be completed by the 18th, if my solicitors don't make another fuckup; which he probably will.
Still if all goes well by the 3/4 of august, I should be in OZ, and starting to realise how much of a bad/good idea this was.
